Planning & Zoning Meeting

Thursday, October 21, 2021

Due to the pending construction at the courthouse, the meeting location has been changed to the upstairs conference room at the North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame (250 Main St), Medora, ND. *NOTE* A remote login for this meeting will not be available.

The TR Presidential Library design team plans to present a preview of the application materials to the County Zoning Board.  The project is located in the SE1/4 of section 21 & the NE1/4 of section 28-140-102 on top of the amphitheater hill outside of Medora.  Potential items for review include an executive summary on the project, a draft of the application, perspective images from various viewpoints in the Medora area, and a Q/A session to gather feedback from the zoning board and members of the public.  No action will be taken or decisions made on the TRPL at this meeting.

On Friday, October 22, 2021, the TR Presidential Library design team will also hold a public Open House at the Fairfield Fire Hall from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM (12823 20th Street SW).   There will be renderings of the library project, easels, brochures, and handouts.  Lunch will be provided.  A quorum of the zoning board may be in attendance, but no action will be taken or decisions made on the TRPL at this public gathering.

The formal application for the TR Presidential Library is anticipated to be scheduled for the November 18, 2021 County Zoning Board meeting.
